A stunning Antique Suffragette pendant from the early 20th Century featuring a fountain of leaves cascading down to a gorgeous flower. It’s decorated with an array of sparkling Diamonds and Pearls with five droppers hanging below set with spherical Amethysts, Pearls and a Peridot.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The Diamonds have superb SI 1 clarity – H colour and are a combination of Old European and Rose cut. There are twenty-three in total which add up to approx. 5ct with the largest weighing approx. 0.50ct each.
It’s fashioned in Silver and backed in 18ct Yellow Gold including the loop. It’s a beautiful tribute to the movement and in excellent condition.
